Great news for Unlocked HTC 10 owners.

The HTC 10 unlocked version is getting the Android 7.0 Nougat software update on November 25 in the US.

This news was first announced by HTC both in their official twitter account as well as HTC USA.

HTC VP of Product Management at HTC USA, Mo Versi, has also announced this update via his Twitter account.

According to him, the update will start in the U.S. only. However, European versions of the unlocked HTC 10 will start receiving it soon, although no time frame is given.

Even if the update will not be available globally, the update will surely improved the device with the bump to Android Nougat.

HTC 10 is not the first phone to have Nougat OS. The newly announced Bolt, also know as 10 evo in Europe, already runs on Android Nougat.

With that being said, we should expect One M9 and One A9 the next HTC devices in line to receive software updates.

Unfortunately, HTC company hasn’t given any info on this matter.
